Furled Leaders – Refined Through Experience
Our furled leaders haven't happened overnight. They are the result of years of development, countless hours on the water, and extensive testing of different tapers, materials, and construction methods. Every refinement has been made with one goal in mind: to produce the perfect balance of strength, precision, and delicate presentation.
The result is a furled leader that turns over flies beautifully, protects fine tippets, and delivers the confidence needed when it matters most.
Two Lengths
To suit a wide range of fishing situations, our leaders are available in two lengths:
Short – 4 ft Ideal where a more direct, controlled turnover is required or when paired with longer tippet lengths.
Long – 6 ft Designed for the finest presentations, allowing for beautifully controlled turnover and exceptional delicacy.
Every one of our leaders has been optimised to perform with tippet lengths between 3 and 6 feet. This gives you the flexibility to fine-tune your overall leader setup to suit changing water conditions, fly sizes and fish behaviour, while maintaining smooth, predictable turnover and presentation. By simply varying your tippet length, you can subtly alter the way your flies are presented without needing to change your furled leader. 
 Two Ratings
Each length is available in two versions, allowing you to match your leader to both your tackle and your fishing style.
Standard
Designed for 4X–6X tippets (approximately 0.18 mm–0.13 mm diameter), the **Standard** version is ideally suited to 4–6 weight rods and fly lines. It provides excellent turnover for larger dry flies, nymphs and small streamers while still delivering the delicate presentation furled leaders are renowned for.
 Ultra Light
Designed for 6X–8X tippets (approximately 0.13 mm–0.08 mm diameter), the Ultra Light version is optimised for 0–3 weight rods and fly lines. Its finer construction cushions the lightest tippets, allowing for the most delicate presentations when targeting wary fish in clear water.

Over the past three years we've tested and produced a wide variety of colours. Customer feedback and sales have consistently pointed to three clear favourites, so we've simplified the range to offer only our most popular and best-performing colours.
 Premium Components Throughout
Every leader is fitted with a market-leading premium tippet ring, providing a durable, low-profile connection that makes changing tippet quick and easy while extending the life of your leader.
We've also retired our original shorb loop. In its place is a fully tied Figure-of-Eight loop, creating a secure, non-slip connection to your fly line that remains steadfast throughout a season's fishing.
